PR & Marketing

Your questions...answered

I can't claim credit for this idea, but I've created this page to give anyone interested in PR and marketing in the equestrian sector the opportunity to ask me a question and I will do my best to answer it.

Questions and answers will be posted below (although your name won't be used) and, in the words of a friend of mine 'the world benefits'. Well, I hope a few members of the equestrian world do anyway!

Just hours after this page appeared, the question below arrived in my inbox. I think it's a good one and probably one that a lot of people ask...

I would love PR assistance as and when I need it. Is this something you can do for me, or would you prefer your clients to go on a retainer?

Some people work on a monthly basis, others as and when, I try and be as flexible as possible so everyone is happy.

I find that, usually, people get the most out of a monthly service if they want full PR support as this means I can keep an eye out for features and react quickly, write information as and when required, etc. That said, if you handle that side of things in house and just need a hand with press releases or specific projects, that’s not a problem either. I would say that flexibility was my middle name, but my birth certificate would disagree…that said, I don’t think my customers would!
