Books
I’m very proud to say that You’ve Got This is available now! This book draws on my experience as a business coach and mentor and talks all about how to set and achieve the goals that matter to you, as well as how to overcome the blocks you encounter on your way.
Overwhelm, lack of confidence, fear of failure – these (and many others) are common, but that doesn’t make them easy to manage. Well, until now! In addition to sharing tried and tested strategy, I also call on some of the most inspiring entrepreneurs I know to share their stories and learnings- from Theo Paphitis to Jo Tutchener-Sharp, Emma Bridgewater to Janine Allis, Lisa Odenweller to Brie Read and many more, we go behind the scenes and pick up plenty along the way.
In addition to the book, I’ve also published a number of the longer interviews from some of the brilliant people that let me interview them for the book… here are the links for you – they’re all great listens…

Yes… there’s a Small & Supercharged Book! You can buy it here!
I’ve written a book all about how to promote your brand well regardless of your budget, because I genuinely don’t believe you need to have a big budget to make an impact. Actually, it’s more than a belief. I’ve been working in the area of PR, marketing, social media and brand building for some 15 years now, and I KNOW you don’t need to have a big budget to do amazing things and grow your brand.

If you do have a big budget, you still need to make it work hard for you and deliver a really good return on your investment. The chances are, you’ll still need to do a good job of your organic (as in, not paid for), promotion too, otherwise you might find that you generate interest that doesn’t convert, you’re missing out on great opportunities to connect with and engage with your audience, and you’re throwing away the opportunity to grow a community and so much else too.
So, you need to know what you’re doing.
Whether you’re the marketing manager for a big brand, you’ve just started your business and you’re at the very start of your journey and don’t know how to get your business out there, or you’re somewhere in the middle and want to really get your brand out to the people you know would be interested, my book, Small & Supercharged – Small steps to supercharge your brand on a budget, is going to help you. Buy it here on Amazon.

With a huge increase in people starting small businesses, side hustles, or just growing themselves as a personal brand and influencer, this book has never been more needed! With step by step guides, tips, real life examples, laser focused input from experts, and a whole heap of motivation and cheerleading too, this book talks readers through building a brand, traditional marketing options, social media and content marketing, collaborations, working with influencers and so much more in a conversational, informative and effective way.
There are so many ways to promote your business for free without getting overwhelmed. You don’t need to be everywhere and, actually, your target client will favour specific areas too, which you’ll find through research, trial, error and just simply asking questions, learning, watching and listening.

A few thank yous…
And before I leave you to go and enjoy the Small & Supercharged Book, it would be wrong not to use this space to say a HUGE thank you to someone who has helped me a huge amount getting the book from 50,000 words on a Word document to the book you can buy on Amazon or read on Kindle. That’s Ruth Chappell. I’m lucky enough to call Ruth a great friend as well as someone I work with, and she’s been a legend throughout this whole process as she has a fair bit of experience in the publishing world in a former life (albeit, slightly different to self publishing!), but I am insanely grateful for everything she’s done. If you’re a horse rider and you want to check out Ruth’s business, Dressage Anywhere, you won’t be disappointed!
I also need to thank my long suffering husband, Lol, who’s heard me witter on about this book forever, read the whole thing through at least once, edited podcasts about it, made the video course and more. And my mother-in-law, Chris, who also got roped in to read the whole thing too. There’s also Jane Badger from Jane Badger Books who was a huge help in teaching me how to get the book to the right place in the end (you should definitely check her out- she publishes absolutely gorgeous books for the horse and pony mad!), and Emily Mingay aka Emily Cole, who helped me adjust the cover (well, she just did it!) at least three times when I changed details. And sizes. And layout.
It’s a miracle anyone’s still speaking to me to be honest!
I would also like to thank all of the cheerleaders who have been beyond supportive when the book has taken another step and I’ve shared it. On Instagram, Facebook, and particularly in my membership group, Mastermind, and my one to one clients. I’m very, very lucky to be surrounded by such amazing, inspiring, kind and supportive people.
